What can I say? Erica and John were amazing to work with for their engagement session. They are so in love and it really showed. These two cousins were the best behaved kids I have ever had in a wedding party. They were so good and just right there when I needed them in the picture. Never had to look for them ,they were there!During the reception E.was dancing up a storm with J.
He was spinning her and doing the waltz. Then he would bust into his own moves. His mom told me that in the motel before the wedding he said "MOM, I don't have any moves I need to practice so I can dance with J". And dance they did.

Newborn session with baby A

This was the sweetest family to photograph. The baby was a dream. So sweet and sleepy. The 2 year old was quick as a little mouse, with the sweetest little voice. The mom and dad, so in love with their beautiful little family. It really was a joy to spend the day with them.

A Beautiful Mother's Day and Abbey's Birthday

I haven't blogged in a while, but than again I am not sure if any one any visits it. Between keeping up my website and myspace plus a photo forum I talk on, it takes a lot of time. If anyone is reading my blogs let me know by leaving some comments. Thanks.

Anyway, I had a beautiful mother's day with 6 of my 7 children. I am very blessed to have my children living nearby. We spent a wonderful day together going to church and out to lunch together then everyone came to the house for Abbey's 14 th birthday and Mother's day celebration. The weather was beautiful and we ate outside, roasting marshmellows even.
I captured some beautiful pictures of the kids and grandkids. Abbey got a new adult size tricycle. She was so excited she took off down the road full speed. After dinner she took a little spill on it and got some road rash on her hands. Now she understands she has to slow down and take the corners carefully.

Senior Session with Beautiful Sisters

These girls were so much fun. We dragged them all over down town and took hundreds of pictures. And you should have seen the heads turn walking down main street in Prescott. At one point someone yelled out "Is that Paris Hilton" Yea right? Paris has nothing on these girls. Anyway it was a fun day and I enjoyed having my daughter Molly assist me. Couldn't have done it with out her.

Beautiful Healthy Baby

Our beautiful baby Adiya is growing up quickly. It's hard to believe that she is almost 1/2 a year old already. She is a big healthy girl at 21 lbs. She smiles from ear to ear with a big toothless smile. She is cutting her first front tooth which has just poked through. She is absolutely one of the happiest babies I have ever seen.I am not just saying that because I am her Nana. She truly is a beautiful baby!

Trying out new texture overlays

I have always loved the tuscany,old world look when I look through photographers portfolios. I finally found a graphic designer that had some textured overlays for sale that I love. Once I realized how it's done in PS I was trying all sorts of textures and papers that I had purchased from designers. Here are a few that I played with so far.

Our Abbey Angel

Abbey was in a very playful mood today and let me take some fun shots of her. Usually she starts making funny faces and putting her fingers in her nose and mouth to pose. I got her talking about fishing with Grandpa(her favorite subject besides Christmas) and she was happy and smiling.

Abbey had to have 2 molars pulled today. She goes to this really cool dentist office that specializes in treating special needs kids. It's the coolest dentist office ever. The building which I didn't really get an outside pic of is this huge colorful looking fun house. Inside are video games,fun house mirrors and movies to watch.The nurses and dentist all wear bright colors and everyone is very friendly. After the children are sedated they get to sit in quiet rooms on big comfy bean bags while they become sleepy. Once the meds take effect they bring a big wagon in to wheel the little ones back in. Abbey was very cooperative and went right back with the nurse after telling me to" stay here".When they were done she met us at the door with balloons and ice pop in hand. She was happy and hugging the nurses and dentist all the while telling them she had fun. That's Abbey for you! They called her an angel which is what we call her most of the time "Abbey angel". All the way home she was wide awake and kept telling us "thanks mom. thanks dad fun" Here's a few pics from her visit.
